A summer internship opportunity awaits you…
Each summer, faculty and staff from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) and the College of Human Ecology (CHE) along with extension educators from local Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) offices involve students in the colleges’ work to benefit local New York communities through research, education, program development and support.
In exchange for the opportunity to engage with faculty members and local communities, students receive a $4,000 stipend.
Student interns gain hands-on experience that is directly applicable to real world scenarios and can translate well to the career path. During the internship, students manage many aspects of research, outreach, and education as they maintain blogs about their experience and accomplishments. In September, interns are invited to showcase their summer internship accomplishments presenting to faculty members, Cornell Cooperative Extension Administration, Association Executive Directors, and the Cornell community.
